MAKE-UP TIPS

1. When looking for a new foundation use your jaw line to test the colour not the back of your hand. Most makeup counters will have a tester you can try at home before committing to an expensive foundation.

2. Always apply concealer after foundation. Be careful not to choose a shade too light otherwise you will just highlight what you are trying to conceal!

3. Don’t over powder, it is ageing and dated.

4. Try not to get stuck in a rut with your makeup as what looks great in your early twenties will not look great twenty years on.

5. Do not match your eye shadow colour to your outfit.  It just looks scary!

6. A lot of people have rather sorry, tired mascara at the bottom of their makeup bag.  Replace it.  There are some fantastic cheap mascaras out there.

7. Only apply bronzer to where the sun would catch cheeks, chin, and forehead. Don’t apply all over as your face will become flat looking, almost 2D.
